uterine myoma
A benign, non-cancerous tumour that arises from the smooth muscle tissue of the uterus and is usually asymptomatic. It is the most common type of tumour of the female genital tract in women of reproductive age. It is also known as uterine leiomyoma and uterine fibroid.
