Intracytoplasmic sperm injection cycle (ICSI cycle ) is a complete process that refers to the method used in in vitro fertilisation and consists of microinjecting the sperm directly into the egg's cytoplasm. It consists of several stages: controlled ovarian stimulation, follicular puncture, egg retrieval, semen collection and preparation, fertilisation by intracytoplasmic sperm injection, embryo culture, embryo transfer and embryo freezing.
