fertility preservation
A procedure that consists in obtaining and preserving eggs and sperm in order to maintain the reproductive capacity of men and women. The most used technologies are egg vitrification and sperm freezing, which are especially indicated for cancer patients and, in the case of women, for those who wish to delay their childbearing age.
