Combined prenatal screening test used to estimate the risk of chromosomal abnormalities (trisomies 21 and 18). Also known as first-trimester screening, triple test or maternal serum screening test, it evaluates maternal age, biochemical markers (PAPP-A, free β-hCG), and ultrasound nuchal translucency.
