A minimally invasive examination of the pelvic and abdominal cavities and the reproductive organs. This procedure involves inserting a laparoscope (a thin instrument with a light and camera) through the abdominal wall to enable visualisation and assessment and, in some cases, treatment in the context of assisted reproduction.
