acrosomal vesicle
A membrane that surrounds the newly formed acrosome (spermiogenesis), also derived from the Golgi apparatus, and in direct contact with the outer layer of the nuclear envelope. The acrosomal vesicle expands to form a cephalic cap over the anterior half of the nucleus.
