unicornuate uterus
Congenital uterine anomaly characterized by the development of only one half of the uterus. Often referred to as a hemi-uterus or banana-shaped uterus, it results in a smaller uterine cavity and only one functional Fallopian tube.

Examples
Patients with unicornuate uterus are able to conceive naturally and carry a pregnancy to term, with a live birth rate 0f 54.2%, prematurity rate of 16.2%, and ectopic pregnancy rate of 4%.
A third of anomalies are septate, a third are bicornuate uteri, 10% are arcuate uterus, 10% are didelphis and unicornuate uterus, and less than 5% are uterine and vaginal aplasia.
