Examples
Advances in assisted reproductive technology (ART), such as oocyte donation and the selection of viable embryos through preimplantation genetic testing for chromosomal abnormalities (PGT-A), have addressed several ovarian-related challenges associated with advanced maternal age.
It is important to point out that ARTs include the fertility treatments in which both oocytes and embryos are handled, such as the IVF and the intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
