The preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) is a genetic analysis technique that is performed on embryos before implantation. It detects chromosomal alterations, allowing the selection of healthy embryos. On the 5th or 6th day of development, cells are extracted by embryo biopsy, and the embryo is preserved (vitrified) until the PGT-A results are obtained.
