arcuate uterus
A type of malformation where the top of your uterus is indented. A typical uterus looks like an upside-down pear. If a person has an arcuate uterus, it is not straight or slightly rounded at the top. Instead, there is a slight dip or hollow. This condition has not been shown to affect pregnancy and is not associated with any serious health complications. It is commonly referred by the Latin term uterus arcuatus.
